In this book Women Down the Pub have gathered information about feminist strategies in Danish visual art through the last forty years. By collecting, editing and publishing a collection of writings and works by women artist from the 60s until today, the book is an attempt to both tracing and re-writing a somewhat forgotten part of Danish art history, as well as inserting the many-folded discourse this project presents into a contemporary framework in which to read and continue the discussions.

"VIEW – Feminist Strategies in Danish Visual Art" does not offer a chronological overview. Language, Narration, Space and Action are the four focal points of the book, giving a nuanced picture of different feminist strategies across generations and schools. This book is a collaboration between Nynne Haugaard, Nanna Debois Buhl, Åsa Sonjasdotter and Lisa Strömbeck.
